If you are familiar with the starting points to the missions this will help a lot as you can jump across the galaxy without the need for most mobility things in sector space.
Skills:
Circled are the Impulse speed modifier increase which increases the speed and turn rate of your engines by up to 40%, so very useful to have in large space maps such as battlezones. The other circled thing is the modifier you get for assigning 5 points into science, it allows you a choice between transwarp cooldown reduction and 25% sector space speed, dependant on what you need it for.

Specializations:
Command has multiple buffs for space and ground and is perfect for increasing the value you get while grinding XP as well as get run speed boosts.
Miracle worker also has some boosts mostly in form of it's timewide buff, as well as simplified plumbing helps after full impulse

Well Travelled can be aquired by running Tour the Galaxy and has the 20% cooldown to Transwarp

Blue Skies (lockbox/exchange) can increase run speed if damaged
Coalition Starship Tactics (lockbox/exchange) can increase speed per tactical teammate
Lead Foot (lockbox/exchange) increases speed and turn rate in full impulse and slipstream
Momentum (lockbox/exchange) stacks speed and turn rate

Enhanced Cloaking Integration (Janeway class) speed and turn rate upon cloak
Extensively Modified Warp Core (Legendary Intrepid) Speed and turn rate for full impulse and quantum slipstream
Smooth Landing (Freedom Class) for additional evasive manuvers
Tactical Retreat (Faeht warbird) for speed when low
Jubilant Cadence (Lafayette class) for stacking speed in combat
Minority majority can increase speed but too situational
