Quorum Order 1-7-20
It is hereby acknowledged by the Pegasus Command Quorum, the following:
1. The Neverwinter Guild is without a Game Commander and without rebuilding cannot be brought in line with the current goals and rules of the guild.
2. The World of Warships Guild is without a Game Commander and without rebuilding cannot be brought in line with the current goals and rules of the guild.
3. The Star Trek Online Guild is without a Game Commander and without rebuilding cannot be brought in line with the current goals and rules of the guild.
4. The League of Legends Guild has never had the solid foundation needed of a Pegasus Command Guild. While numbers wise and activity wise, it is one of our top guilds. Its members do not in general value the Pegasus Command way of community. Nor has it embraced a leave no one behind ethos, and horizontal integration with its members. It has continued to be a source of disciplinary issues for the guild and numerous needless distractions. While many of its members have pushed and pulled our guild to be something it is not, a twitch/youtube following. It is determined that without rebuilding it cannot be brought in line with the current goals and rules of the guild.
As such it is specifically ordered that:
1. The Neverwinter Guild and World of Warships Guild be removed from the list of Official Games effective 31 JUL 2020. Their members will have 30 Days from that date to join another game guild with Pegasus Command, ask for retirement, or will be removed from the guild be they Members of Peg Com Citizens. There is to be no search for replacements guilds. These games will remain in discord under other guild games. They may in future be brought back before the Quorum should any Peg Com member and the Supreme Commander wish to revive one of them according to the standards we have in our rules.
2. The Star Trek Guild is placed in a rebuilding phase and under the direct command of the Office of the President for up to 6 months. The President has requested and agreed to take on such rebuilding efforts. After the 6 months a determination will be made as to if the guild meets standards per our rules. Star Trek Online is to be held to the replacement guild standard set out in our rules.
3. After much debate this Quorum has determined to rebuild the League of Legends Guild. To this purpose the League Guild is placed under the direct command of the Office of the Supreme Commander for their entire term. The Supreme Commander has requested and agreed to take on such rebuilding efforts. In addition, we make the following special conditions and rules for the League Guild:
a. Any member or Peg Com Citizen can be removed from the League Guild at anytime with agreement of both the Supreme Commander and President. If they are only in the League guild and are removed under this provision, they will be removed from Pegasus Command also. A Citizen may still appeal their removal to the Court, if under appeal, they will be placed on Suspended Member Status until resolved.
b. The Supreme Commander’s plan for rebuilding this guild is incorporated into this order by reference there to and will be provided to all current League Guild Members. Each member will be required to review the plan and agree to its direction and to conforming to its requirements. Any member that refuses or fails to do so within 15 days after being published will be removed from the Guild. We are in this together and League members must be willing to work for the greater whole. League is at its core a team game. This is about being a team.
Non community minded members, non-team-oriented players are not welcome in Pegasus Command and invited to find a guild that fits their desires better than we can serve them as a community. We are a guild for our members progress, advancement, and most importantly fun. We want members that interact with one another in a way that fosters more interaction. People that are here for one another, not cliques or mini cults of personality, they will not be allowed. Selfish game play, nor actions that bring disrepute to what we as Pegasus Command stand for, will be tolerated. Our goal in League is to create a mature, inviting, community of people that love the game and want to play it together.
c. Members will not use any other tags while playing League with other guild members or in any official op or event. They will use ours when playing with guild members or in guild ops or events.
d. Members will not violate the TOS/Rules of the League game, how likely action is to be taken is not a relevant concern.
e. Any member or Peg Com Citizen found playing (this means taking part in some game play mode) the League game during any official Op or Event of the League Guild for which they qualify and not with the guild in such Op or Event, will warned in writing on the first offense. On their second offense the member or Peg Com Citizen will be removed from the guild. If a Citizen this may be appealed per 3(a).
f. The League of Legends Guild will be held to the expansion guild standard in our rules.
So Ordered:
Pegasus Command Quorum
15 JUL 20
I suspect that some critical words are omitted as indicated by the bold text:
Non community minded members, non-team-oriented players are not welcome in Pegasus Command and are invited to find a guild that fits their desires better than we can serve them as a community. We are a guild for our members' progress, advancement, and most importantly fun. We want members that interact with one another in a way that fosters more interaction. People that are here for one another, not cliques or mini cults of personality, they will not be allowed. Selfish game play, nor actions that bring disrepute to what we as Pegasus Command stand for, will be tolerated. Edit: One correction withdrawn. The sentence's syntax was a bit awkward as I originally read it.
