so, it looks like participation in the conquest event has dropped off a bit.
now, being a fairly clever guy, figured i'd let the community ring in on this issue.
i have 3 ideas on how to organize this event...
Idea 1) we could breakup the the event, instead of a marathon with a $20 giftcard at the end, we do a smaller weekly event where the weekly winner earns a $5 giftcard, and we do this up to 4 times in a month, so if the top character (or guild member) wins all 4 weeks in a row, they get the full $20. if we hit the guild goal at least once in the month we do a raffle for the monthly datacron (which i've been covering these last 2 months)
Idea 2) we put off doing conquest events for a few months, basically saving up a bunch of giftcards and datacrons, then once, say every 4 months we do a month long conquest event, one full conquest event per-week (where we giveaway a $20 giftcard each week, and every week we hit the guild goal i give away a datacron).
Idea 3) we go back to the original plan. that's where once per-month we do a single week of conquest play, and at the end the highest scoring character gets the $20 card, and if the guild hits the goal i raffle off the datacron.
so, pick your favorite option.
